Pennsylvania Newsmakers' special guest, Secretary of Agriculture Sam Hayes, will discuss the status of agriculture in Pennsylvania, the potential for a drought this growing season, the prospect of bio terrorism, and the role of his department in homeland security. A second newsmaker, former state senator Bill Lincoln, describes the failure of Verizon to extend broad-band capacity to major parts of the state, and the continuing problem of a lack of local telephone competition. Hayes and Lincoln are interviewed by Robert Swift of the Ottaway News, and host Terry Madonna.
