Originally aired on April 20th, 2003
This week's Pennsylvania Newsmakers features a discussion of safety and security in Pennsylvania. Our newsmakers are the top two officials responsible for the safety and security programs in the Commonwealth: Dave Sanko, the Director of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, and Keith Martin, The Director of Homeland Security. The panel discusses a range of security and safety issues at nuclear and chemical plants, schools and other public facilities, and efforts to involve the public in safety and security measures. Terry Madonna hosts the program, and Brad Bumsted of the Pittsburgh Tribune Review is a guest journalist.
